Treatment
Root Canal Therapy
Treatment to relieve pain and save a compromised tooth, performed with 3D imaging and sedation options for anxious patients.
One to two visits
It is the treatment that stops the pain
Root canal therapy has a reputation it has not deserved for a long time. The pain people associate with it is the infection, not the treatment — the appointment is what ends it. With modern anaesthetic most people find it comparable to having a filling.
Saving the tooth is the point
The alternative is losing the tooth and then replacing it, which is a longer and more involved road. Where a tooth can be kept, keeping it is almost always the better outcome.
Questions
- I'm in pain right now — what do I do?
- Call the practice rather than filling in a form. Time is kept open in the schedule each day for exactly this.
