Cosmetic Bonding
Composite bonding to repair chips, close small gaps and reshape teeth — usually in a single appointment, without removing significant tooth structure.
One visit
The conservative option
Bonding adds material rather than removing it. For a chipped edge, a small gap or a tooth that sits slightly out of line, it often achieves what someone assumed would need a veneer — in one appointment and without irreversible preparation.
When it is the wrong answer
Composite does not resist staining the way porcelain does, and it is not the right choice across a whole smile or on a heavily worn bite. If a case would be better served by porcelain, we will say so rather than sell you the quicker option.
Questions
- How is bonding different from veneers?
- Bonding is composite applied directly to the tooth in one visit. Veneers are porcelain, made in our laboratory and bonded on afterwards. Bonding is faster and more conservative; porcelain holds colour and lasts longer.
